LeaseGuard AI is built around a zero-storage model. Your lease is analyzed — never stored, never shared, never trained on.
Your lease document is processed in real-time and immediately discarded. It is never written to a database, saved to disk, logged, or used in AI training. When your session ends, your document is gone — permanently. This is a technical design decision, not just a promise.
1. Information We Collect
LeaseGuard AI is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Here is what we collect and what we do not:
What we process (not store): When you upload or paste a lease document for analysis, the text is transmitted to our AI analysis pipeline and immediately processed. The document is not written to disk, is not stored in a database, and is discarded at the end of your session.
Anonymous analytics: We collect basic, anonymized usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration) to improve the service. This data cannot be tied back to you or your lease document.
Contact form submissions: If you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Payment information: If you upgrade to Pro, payment is processed via Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — only a payment confirmation and email for report delivery.
2. Your Lease Document — Zero Storage Policy
This is our most important privacy commitment:
**Your lease document is never stored.** When you upload a PDF or paste lease text, it is transmitted over an encrypted connection, processed by our AI in real time, and immediately discarded. No copy is retained — not in temporary storage, not in logs, not in a database.
**We do not train AI models on your documents.** Your lease content is never used to improve, fine-tune, or expand our AI systems.
**We do not share your documents.** Your lease text is never shared with third parties, landlords, real estate companies, data brokers, or any other entity.
This is a technical design decision, not merely a policy — our architecture makes bulk retention of documents structurally impossible.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data for advertising purposes. We share limited data only with the following service providers, strictly for operating the service:
Stripe: Payment processing for Pro plan purchases. Governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Email delivery provider: Used to send Pro analysis reports to the email address you provide. Report content is transmitted but not retained by the email provider beyond delivery.
Analytics provider: Anonymous, aggregate-only usage data. No personally identifiable information is included.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (primarily limited to contact form submissions and payment records).
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. Because we do not store lease documents, there is no lease data to delete. Contact and payment records can be deleted upon request.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices:
Encrypted transmission: All data (including lease text and contact forms) is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections (HTTPS).
No bulk storage of sensitive documents: Our zero-storage architecture eliminates the primary attack surface for document breaches.
Payment security: All payment data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to maintaining and improving our security practices.
7. Children's Privacy
LeaseGuard AI is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at privacy@leaseguardai.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of LeaseGuard AI after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
